When I turned 40 I felt like my body was falling apart. I was on a path of eating clean and healthy for about 10 years always learning but then at age 40 the floor fell out from under me. I started having some major hormonal issues that was affecting the quality of my life. I was actually headed for surgery to remove fibroids and decided to try something new. I switched from my health food variety of vitamins to Shaklee's. Within a month I felt like a new woman, better than I could ever remember feeling. No more emotional swings, no more symptoms from uterine fibroids.
I shared my story with my close friends and they decided to try the same thing that I was taking. Together we had a mission to help other women get healthy too with the same issues.
In about 30 days I had enough money to cover the cost of the products for myself and much more that I decided to build this business until my youngest went to school. By the time he entered school I had earned a trip and a bonus car. So I decided to not return to teaching until my oldest went to college. That was the year that I earned a trip to Europe. I decided to wait until the second child went off to college. I tested subbing and after two years I realized returning to teaching school took away too much freedom and no free trips and no bonus cars! Now as a senior citizen I know I made the right decision. I get to make my own schedule and work when I want to!
